3.10 Beverley review

The high draws proved important again, and the race was won by one of the VDW probables (and in his case a probable with form). Another of the three probables, Fol Hollow, was clearly in the race to win, but proved not quite good enough.

My other hope, Ishetoo, ran extremely disappointingly, suggesting his first seasonal target is some way away. But Hamish McGonagall ran well from a poor draw and he now goes on the "watch" list as a horse who may be ready to be placed to win before too long.
