Green Moon, 24 April

Green Moon is another from my list of 15 2009 2yos to watch as 3yos, and he runs for the first time this year in the 4.40 Leicester tomorrow. He qualified for the list by virtue of his run on 24 October 2009 at Newbury, a class 49 8f race, where he posted a "Hussey" adjusted SF of 89. As with the previous horses from the list, there is no question of backing him first time out.

In response to two emails received, yes I do post on the Mathematician's forum as AlanB, which is simply my first name and first letter of my surname. I posted as AlanB on the first VDW forum I joined but when it become inactive and I found the Gummy forum had a lively VDW section and applied to join, I opted for Fulham, presumably because AlanB was taken. I have subsequently posted as Fulham on several VDW forums.

The horse briefly referred to in the Mathematician forum post that prompted the emails was indeed a VDW selection, as that is the only approach I take to race analysis. I am happy to set out how it was found, but it will have to be in a day or two because this evening and tomorrow there are several promising weekend races to analyse.
